Seminar on ITeS on December 11

Scope International is partnering with Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu (Elcot) to organise a career guidance seminar on the growth potential in IT enabled services (ITeS) at Loyola College on December 11.
The seminar will highlight the opportunities and growth potential in the ITeS sector. It is targeted at the second and third-year degree students, parents and lecturers. Over thirty arts and science colleges from the city and districts are expected to participate in the one-day seminar.
The seminar will educate the target group on specific areas of work, skills required at entry level for different verticals, growth opportunities, career options, human capital requirement and information on BPO training centres. It will cover areas like banking, e-publishing, healthcare, legal transcription and HR services.
Senior executives from Scope International, Sutherland Technologies, Office Tiger, Wipro Spectramind, Alden Press, Ma Foi and Lason India will make presentations at the seminar.
